Hey babes!

Welcome back to another Blogpost Thursday. This week we're giving you a much needed dose of summertime glam-ness. Whilst our country cousins north of the equator are cozying up in sweaters and boots, we're enjoying our holiday cheer with a side of open-toe sandals and Pimms by the pool. No complaints there!

Looking finer than a dime in our summertime, this week we're serving up some unadulterated fierce femininity from our girls Mel (@curvycartel) and Katrina (@sista_w_style). Make sure to follow them on Instagram to keep up to date with their fashion adventures and exposés.

Starting with Mel. This month, our rule breaker of fashionable proportions has taken her love for colour blocking and print on print and translated it into a trans-seasonal look. Mixing summer and winter in an outfit that screams "no one else can pull this off except Mel Woods," Mel pairs her Wanita Lady in Blue with a pair of thigh high black boots - as you do!

In her second look, Mel pairs the Wanita Lady dress with a beautiful yet unconventionally coloured and paterned skirt and pant - both of which are a testiment to Mel's MO of thinking outside of the box and making it look easy (and chic) whilst she does it.

We can't get enough - can you blame us?! To shop Mel's look, browse through our collections and let us know how you're styling your Nyata threads. As you can see - the more creative, the better!

Next up is our Sista With Style, Miss Katrina. Like Mel, Katrina loves a little breaking-the-mold action and we love her for it. In this month's addition, she's showing us how you can pair unconventional wardrobe staples together to form an outfit that will help you stand out in style. Pictured below in her Wanita Lady dress and Cinta skirt, Katrina pays homage to the belief that a little goes a long way. And we couldn't agree more.

For her second look, Katrina takes a classic spin on one of our crowd favorites, the Indah Love dress in black. Pairing it with black accessories to create a somber, all black ensemble, the look is versatile, chic and most importantly; wearable.

Whilst a summer wardrobe is often casual and laidback, Katrina shows us that there is no wrong way to dress it up and flaunt what you got. Whether it's pairing a semi-formal dress with leather leggings and a pair of heels, or wearing a casual thinly-rimmed skirt with a statement necklace, there's no reason to stick to jeans and tee just because the rules of a summertime wardrobe dictates it as such!

We love that our Nyata ambassadors have fun with their looks and we hope that they inspire you to do the same. At the end of the day we make clothes that we think look beautiful, but are only ever truly beautiful when worn by a woman who enjoys being seen, being heard and being a part of a truly colorful, vibrant narrative. So this December as the weather gets hotter and the drinks get colder, wear your summer wardrobe in a way that rebels against the rules of colour, print and season. Have fun with it and just. be. you.

Lots of love until next time!

Team Nyata x
